Ben Jones, Director, represented M who was stopped driving a vehicle containing a large amount of drugs which resulted in him appearing before the Leeds Crown Court. 

 

Extensive pro-active defence enquiries were made as to whether or not the stop had been instigated by the interception of EncroChat phone data. It was eventually discovered that this was the case and the matter halted for some time whilst legal challenges were brought in other cases. 

 

Our client eventually pleaded guilty to the charges and extensive medical evidence was sought and used in his mitigation.
