Mohammad Asif represented F as an interested third party under section 10A of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. F was the wife of a defendant facing Confiscation Proceedings and they jointly owned a property which was subject to Confiscation. We argued that F’s share was significantly greater than that of her husband’s and successfully demonstrated that this was the case with the prosecution conceding that she was entitled to a 75% share. A significant result for a very grateful client.
